Frequently Asked Questions

How do I contact Sharon to purchase an item I have seen?
Please call or email me and I will let you know if it is available.  I typically only make one or two of any design (that’s why it is SFB Originals!).  If it is not available, I would be happy to work with you to design a similar piece, perhaps using the same beads, or adding others as we decide.

What do I do if I want an item to match an outfit?
Please call or email me so we can discuss what your ideas are.  If needed, we can meet so I can gauge the colors and the style (what will look best). If you see something on the website, perhaps in a different color, we can discuss the options for changing the beads, gemstones, etc.

For custom orders, when do I pay for the piece?
Full payment including tax and shipping (typically $3-$5) must be received prior to the item being shipped. If you need rush delivery, there will be additional charges.

How will the item(s) be shipped?
I typically use the Post Office and Federal Express.

How much time should I allow for a custom designed piece?
Two – four weeks depending on the availability of the gemstones and complexity of the piece.

Types of Payment?
I accept cash, check, Mastercard and Visa.

What if I want to order bridal/wedding items?
This process should be started as soon as colors, dresses, etc. are decided. It takes time for me to get to know your personality and preferences.  A minimum of two months, again more time if the gemstones must be ordered and a quantity of items designed. My goal is to design headpieces, necklaces, earrings, etc. that are distinctively yours and that represent your style.
Swatches of fabric or flower colors are helpful.  Photos of the dresses enable me to design the most appropriate accessory that will complete the ensemble. Measurements may be needed for bracelets and flower girl wreaths.
When a decision has been finalized, a contract will be signed and NO changes to the design can be made without additional costs being incurred.

What is the payment schedule for bridal/wedding items?
At the time the contract is signed, 40% of the total amount is due.  One month prior to the wedding date, another 40%.  The balance of 20% is due upon delivery or prior to shipment.

May I see a variety of jewelry pieces or fiber accessories?
Absolutely. I would be happy to come to your home or you to mine, to present my current designs.
You can also consult my calendar for upcoming shows.
