For that special day, I would be honored to assist the bride in designing her headpiece and jewelry. In addition, bridal party accessories to complement their ensembles will create a total look for the bridal party that is hers and hers alone! Since a bride typically wishes to
include family heirloom pieces as party of her ensemble, we can include
them in a unique design that spans the generations!
I use pearls, Swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones with sterling or gold findings to provide the elegance and quality that will stand the test of time. Necklaces, earrings and bracelets can be designed using any materials you desire. Single, multistrand, choker, or opera length necklaces are possibilities. We can also coordinate the jewelry with the headpiece using the same materials.
Chandelier earrings are the perfect accessory in lieu of a necklace and often are a better complement to the dress. Only fine metals and Swarovski crystals are used in the pieces that will become the focal point of the ensemble. Typically custom designed, they can also be color coordinated to the wedding dress or the color scheme of the bridesmaids' dresses.
Headpieces/hairpieces typically coordinate to the bridal gown and veil. Only the finest pearls, crystals and other precious gems will be combined with gold or silver findings. Hairpieces can be designed for those brides who choose not to ear a veil, but would prefer jewelry in their hair. We can incorporate color here as well.
Bridesmaids & Family Members
Not only is this an important day for the bride, but for the bridesmaids and family members. Any and all jewelry items can be color coordinated using the elements (pearls, crystals and gems) that will best complement the ensembles.
I am happy to design pieces to accent the dress styles as well as reflect the personalities of the individuals. For example, we can design personalized earrings for each bridesmaid staying within the color scheme and using the same components. For the Mothers and Grandmothers, creating designs reflecting the style and color of the dress is a must!
Flower Girls
For the junior members of the wedding party, we can design wreaths, bows or hair bands to coordinate with the bridesmaids' accessories while being age appropriate.
Bridal Showcase
Jessica - she was my inspiration for the first headpiece! It consisted of more than 180 freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. We chose the colors of both to coordinate with the dress color and beading.
Renee - I designed earrings and bracelets for ten bridesmaids and a flower girl using freshwater pearls and Swarovski squardelles as spacers.
Bernadette
- Her necklace and earrings consisted of alternating ivory and taupe pearls with Swarovski crystals in between. Her two daughters wore pink and green dresses. I designed a pair of earrings for her older daughter and a necklace for the younger one.
Maggie
- Custom designed necklaces for twelve bridesmaids were a pendant of navy and ivory pearls clustered on a sterling chain. Hair wreaths for two flower girls were of navy ribbon, strands of pearls and porcelain call lilies, the flower of the day!
Sarah
- I used ivory coin pearls and pink freshwater pearls combined with green crystals for four bridesmaid necklaces. Mother's bracelets to match were a prefect remembrance of Sarah's day. I fashioned Prasiolite drops on vintage silver findings for her bridal earrings. As we met to consult about the designs, Sarah noticed a string of pale pink freshwater pearls in my collection. I fashioned them into a choker necklace, tied in the back with several strands of ribbon. She wore the necklace to the rehearsal dinner, and even talked her fiance into buying it for her!
Jennifer - knowing her hair style for the wedding, I created a braided flexible band of Swarovski crystals and pearls that she wore from ear to ear. After the ceremony, I strung the components into a necklace and earrings for her to always have as a remembrance! For her two bridesmaids, I fashioned different pairs of earrings using the same colors of taupe, garnet and orange with gold findings. Each pair was reflective of their personality!
Sara (my daughter) Her headpiece of pearls and Swarovski silk crystals twinkled throughout the church! She designed chandelier earrings using the same elements, as well as a two row bracelet.
My earrings used two sizes of Swarovski purple crystals and a vintage sterling drop element. My bracelets used the same crystals in a three row wrap bracelet.
I also designed for the mother of the groom - a taupe and gold hair comb with swirling gold branches of taupe and clear crystals.
The grandmother of the groom was attired in an emerald green crystals necklace and earrings.
