Bridal Jewelry & Accessories

Celebrate the moment, cherish the memory.

For that special day, I am honored to assist the bride in designing her headpiece and jewelry, including the incorporation of vintage family gems. In addition, bridal party accessories to complement the dresses will create a "total look" that is hers and hers alone. Pearls, semi-precious stones and crystals with gold or sterling accents provide the elegance and quality that will stand the test of time.

Bridal jewelry may be designed using any materials you desire: pearls, gems, and crystals. I only use the finest components since you expect these pieces to last a lifetime. The headpiece will complement the jewelry, be they a single or multi strand, choker or opera length necklace, bracelet or chandelier earrings. For the bride who prefers simply jewelry in her hair, we can incorporate any elements including color to coordinate with the flower or dress selections. Since a bride typically wishes to include family heirloom pieces as part of her ensemble (something "old"), we can create a unique piece that spans the generations!

I also have a line of chandelier earrings for formal affairs. Only fine metals and the finest crystals and pearls are used in the pieces that will become the focal point of the ensemble. Typically custom designed, they can be color coordinated to the bridal gown or color scheme of the bridesmaid dresses.

Not only is this an important day for the bride, but for the bridesmaids and family members. Any and all
jewelry items can be color coordinated using the elements (pearls, gems and crystals) that will best complement the ensembles. I am happy to design pieces to accent the dress styles as well as reflect the personalities of the individuals. For example, we can design personalized earrings for each bridesmaid staying within the color scheme.

For the junior members of the wedding party we can design wreaths, bows or hair accessories to coordinate the with those of the bridesmaids while being age appropriate.

I have designed a wrap for those cooler days that uses three types of yarns. It can be designed in white, ivory, taupe or any other color. Pearls or crystals dangle from wrap to accent the luxurious nature of the design.

My pledge is to consult with you to design an original piece that reflects your personality and color preferences using the most elegant materials available.

Wedding Showcase

The following are brides and a brief description of the designs I created:

Jessica
She is the inspiration for the first bridal headpiece.  The comb consisted of more than 180 freshwater pearls alternating with Swarovski crystals.  When she walked into the reception and turned her head, she sparkled from 30 feet away!

Renee   For ten bridesmaids I designed earrings and bracelets using ivory pearls and silver Swarovski squardelles.  The three year old flower girl also received a bracelet!  The dresses were black with ivory sashes - what an elegant look we created!

Bernadette  Together we designed her necklace and earrings - ivory and taupe pearls alternating with Swarovski crystals.  Her two daughters gave her away wearing mint green dresses. The older one wore a necklace of pink and green crystals, while the younger one wore a bracelet.

Maggie  Her colors were navy and ivory and she wanted pearls for the bridesmaids.  I designed a pendant with navy pearls alternating with ivory ones for 12 bridesmaids.  Her flowers were ivory calla lilies.

For her two flower girls, I created a hair wreath using the navy ribbon and porcelain call lilies to accent the string of pearls wrapping around the wreath.  A bow in the back of navy ribbon had a string of pearls woven into the bow.

Maggie also commissioned a three strand pearl and black bead necklace for the singer at the ceremony.

Sarah  Her colors for the four bridesmaids were pink and mint green.  She wanted coin pearls!  So we designed a pendant using a green coin pearl with pink and pale yellow pearls.  Earrings to match were perfect!

While designing the pendant, Sarah saw a strand of pink baroque pearls - they became her rehearsal dinner jewelry with the clasp in the back two strands of pink ribbon - a perfect compliment to her updo!  She even convinced her fiance to buy them for her!

While we were working through the designs, I mentioned I had a strand of prasiolite - turned out to be Sarah's favorite precious gem!  Her bridal earrings were 5 carat briolettes hung from vintage finding and 10K white gold leverbacks.

For her Mother, a pair of prasiolite drops from 10K white gold lever backs.

For his Mother, a bracelet fashioned after the bridesmaids' jewelry in green, pink and pale yellow pearls!

Sara, my daughter To compliment her ivory lace dress, she chose a headpiece of Swarovski creme rose pearls and silk crystals.  The three strand bracelet is fashioned from the same elements, but on a larger scale.  Her earrings are a single pearl hung from a sterling finding with clear crystals embedded.

Rehearsal dinner: a single strand bracelet composed of taupe freshwater pearls and Swarovski bi color crystals. The earrings are a vintage sterling finding with a crystal and single pearl.

Mother of the Bride: my chandelier earrings and a three strand bracelet contain amethyst Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls with sterling findings.  My gown is royal purple.

Mother of the Groom: mocha brown earrings on a silver chandelier base. A comb using the same crystals and pearls will accent her french twist hair design.

Grandmother of the Groom: Fall color blend of Swarovski crystals with ivory seed pearls on a gold chain.  Three station earrings to match.

Amy Her bridesmaids are wearing Tuscan gold dresses to which I designed chandelier earrings in gold pearls with Siam red Swavorski crystals on a gold chandelier base.  Her maid of honor's earrings are ivory pearls with gold filigree endcaps and the Siam red crystals.  Amy's headpiece is yet to be designed.
